The Orioles have returned home after being swept in Detroit, and Robinson Chirinos is catching tonight.
No roster moves have been announced. No new lockers in the home clubhouse.
Austin Hays is attempting to hit this afternoon. The swelling is down in his left hand, but he remains out of the lineup.
Ramón Urías is batting cleanup and starting at shortstop. Rylan Bannon is playing third base in his first game at Camden Yards.
Tyler Nevin is the first baseman. Ryan McKenna is in left field.
Kyle Bradish is making his fourth major league start tonight, but he’s familiar with the Yankees. He threw two scoreless exhibition innings against them in Tampa.
Bradish completed seven innings on 90 pitches in his last start in St. Louis, holding the Cardinals to two runs, walking none and striking out 11.
The Yankees have the best record in the majors at 25-9. They’ve won six of their last seven games and 18 of 21.
Luis Severino is 6-1 with a 3.59 ERA and 0.954 WHIP in 11 career games against the Orioles. Anthony Santander hit a three-run homer off him earlier this season.
The Orioles won two of three games against the Yankees April 15-17 at Camden Yards and were swept in the Bronx later in the month.
