I wouldn’t say he’s kicking down the door right now, but a little defensive support would have been nice. More on that later.

Andino has accounted for three of Norfolk’s five errors, raising his total to 24 – fielding, a missed throw and an errant throw.

Update: Jeff Salazar and Nolan Reimold homered off Daniel Moskos in a five-run eighth inning, leading Norfolk to an 11-6 victory.

Joel Guzman hit his 24th homer for Double-A Bowie. He’s driven in three runs, raising his RBI total to 74.
