BOSTON – The Orioles begin their final road trip of the season with four games at Fenway Park. They remain four behind the Mariners for the final wild card.

They could be contemplating a roster move. Pitchers Beau Sulser and Logan Gillaspie are in the visiting clubhouse at Fenway Park, and the lineup card hasn’t been posted.

Infielder Ramón Urías said he should be available tonight and able to avoid shutting down over the last 10 games.

Urías has been receiving treatments for spasms between his neck and shoulder, which forced him out of the lineup and a recent game. He’s prepared to play through them.

“It’s feeling better,” he said. “Still have a little tenderness right now but feeling better and I think I’m available tonight off the bench.”

The discomfort began away from the field.

“I was in the shower and tried to grab my towel and something happened,” he said. “I felt some pain.”

Catcher Cam Gallagher also is in Boston, and he confirmed that he’s on the taxi squad.

Catcher Adley Rutschman has his lower right leg taped down to the heel on his foot, but he appears to be fine.

The Orioles selected Gallagher off waivers from the Padres on Sept. 11.

Ryan Mountcastle is 10-for-25 in his last seven games. He’s likely to stay at first base tonight.

Rougned Odor has two RBIs in each of his last three games, his longest streak since 2020.

Jordan Lyles tossed his second career complete game in his last start. He’s made four starts against the Red Sox this season and allowed 16 runs and 32 hits in 18 innings.

Eric Hosmer is 6-for-15 with two home runs lifetime against Lyles, but he hasn’t played since Aug. 20 due to inflammation in his lower back. Rafael Devers is 5-for-15 with two doubles and a home run. Kiké Hernández is 6-for-12 with two doubles.

The Orioles are stuck on 79 wins after losing the last two games to the Astros over the weekend. They’re 8-7 against the Red Sox this season and 3-3 in Boston.

The Orioles haven’t committed an error in eight straight games.

The Red Sox have lost five games in a row. They were just swept by the Yankees in a four-game series in the Bronx.

Right-hander Connor Seabold is making his sixth major league start and the fifth this season. He’s 0-3 with a 10.47 ERA and 2.204 WHIP in 16 1/3 innings, with 19 runs and 30 hits allowed, six walks and 17 strikeouts.

Seabold started on July 8 and didn’t pitch again for the Red Sox until Wednesday, when he allowed four runs in five innings in Cincinnati.

The Orioles drafted Seabold in the 19th round in 2014 out of Newport Harbor High School in California, but he didn’t sign.
