Lugo has played 11 games in left field, but he’s made only two starts. He shags fly balls out there during batting practice, but it’s a little different once the game begins.
Update: Lugo is 2-for-2 with a double – the only hits off C.J. Wilson – but the Orioles trail, 1-0, on Mitch Moreland’s home run in the second inning.
Joel Guzman hit his 28th home run tonight for Double-A Bowie.
