The Orioles announced that they have recalled RHP Chris Tillman from Triple-A Norfolk. He will start today’s game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Tillman, 22, went 11-7 with a 3.34 ERA (121.1IP, 45ER) in 21 starts for the Tides this season, including 3-1 with a 3.18 ERA (34.0IP, 12ER) in six starts in August. His ERA was tied for fourth in the International League and he was tied for 5th in the league in wins.
