Corey Patterson started the rally in the fourth with a bunt single. The Orioles loaded the bases on a walk to Nick Markakis and a Jeremy Bonderman pitch that hit Luke Scott. Felix Pie singled off the out-of-town scoreboard to tie the game, 1-1, and leave the bases filled, and Adam Jones emptied them with a double to left.

The Orioles sent 10 batters to the plate while building a 6-1 lead for Chris Tillman, who’s only mistake so far is a pitch that Don Kelly turned into a leadoff home run in the second inning.

Update: It’s shaping up to be a big day for Pie and Jones. Pie’s two-run triple in the fifth drove Bonderman from the game, and Jones greeted reliever Eddie Bonine with an RBI single.

Jones is now one RBI away from tying his career high.
