Orioles reliever Jim Johnson has achieved Super Two status, according to C. Trent Rosencrans of CBSsports.com. That means an extra year of arbitration eligibility. That means an extra raise.

The cutoff has been lowered to two years and 122 days, allowing Oakland’s Brad Ziegler to make it. That’s his exact amount of service time. Previously, players needed two years and 130 days.
