The run in the first inning was unearned after Craig Tatum’s error, but Bergesen surrendered four hits and walked a batter in the second. Jason Jaramillo’s two-run single increased the lead to 3-1, and Matt Diaz added a two-out RBI single after Jose Tabata walked.

Bergesen is back on the mound for the third inning.

Update: Bergesen didn’t finish the inning. He left with two outs after walking Ronny Cedeno. He’s charged with four runs (three earned) and six hits, with two walks and one strikeout. I’ve got him with 67 pitches, 40 for strikes.

Bergesen has allowed six earned runs and 13 hits in 7 2/3 innings this spring.
