SARASOTA, Fla. – Another domino fell in Orioles camp today when they placed pitcher Justin Duchscherer on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left hip.
We knew it was coming. Now it’s official.
Duchscherer threw two innings in yesterday’s simulated game against six minor league hitters.
The Orioles are hoping that he’ll be ready to pitch on April 21 against the Twins at Camden Yards.
