Jeremy Guthrie will remain hospitalized overnight after being diagnosed with a form of pneumonia, according to manager Buck Showalter.
Guthrie has been scratched from Wednesday’s start against the Tigers at Camden Yards. Brad Bergesen will take his place.
The Orioles are hoping that Guthrie can take the ball on April 10, the original date that Bergesen was supposed to debut, against the Rangers at Camden Yards. No roster move is forthcoming.
