The Orioles today announced that RHP STEVE JOHNSON has been returned to the organization from the San Francisco Giants. Johnson was selected by the Giants in the Rule 5 draft in December.
Johnson was 3-2 with a 2.84 ERA in seven starts for Double-A Bowie in 2009 after being acquired from the Los Angeles Dodgers along with 3B JOSH BELL in exchange for LHP GEORGE SHERRILL on July 30. He was 12-7 with a 3.41 ERA overall last season.
