(WASHINGTON, D.C.) — MASN will provide live coverage of the Nationals news conference Thursday afternoon naming Mike Rizzo general manager of the Washington Nationals.
The news conference is Thursday at 4:00 p.m. and will be televised live on MASN and MASN HD.
The Nationals named Rizzo acting general manager in March. Since taking the job, Rizzo acquired outfielder Nyjer Morgan and reliever Sean Burnett from the Pirates for Lastings Milledge and Joel Hanrahan. The Nationals named Rizzo acting general manager in March. Rizzo was also instrumental in negotiating an agreement earlier this week with elite pitching prospect Stephen Strasburg.
