Each Major League Baseball club will get 23 days of in-stadium voting before the June 24 deadline for punching out the chad next to the names of favorite players.
As always, the Orioles are well represented on the ballot. O’s fans can vote for first baseman Derrek Lee, second baseman Brian Roberts, shortstop J.J. Hardy, third baseman Mark Reynolds, catcher Matt Wieters, designated hitter Vladimir Guerrero, and outfielders Adam Jones, Nick Markakis and Luke Scott.
Ballots will be passed out and collected by ushers at Camden Yards during home games beginning Saturday and continuing through June 24. The in-stadium balloting is sponsored by Firestone and gives fans an opportunity to win a trip for two to All-Star Week, including hotel, airfare, tickets to the All-Star Game and other All-Star Week events, and a set of four Firestone tires.
Fans may also cast votes for the players who will represent the American League and National Leagues in the State Farm Home Run Derby on July 11 at Chase Field.
If you prefer to vote online, ballots are available here. You can vote a maximum of 25 times a day and voting ends June 30 at 11:59 p.m., ET.
Beginning July 3 and continuing through July 7, MLB.com will host the 2011 Final Vote to choose the final player for each league’s All-Star roster.
