Adam Jones is a man on a mission.
Prove to the Mariners that they never should have traded him.

Luke Scott broke a 1-1 tie in the fifth inning with a single off Felix Hernandez that scored Derrek Lee, who singled with two outs to start the rally. Hernandez hit Guerrero to bring Scott to the plate, and the left fielder responded with his third hit since undergoing that MRI on Monday.
Jones followed with a triple into right-center field, giving him a team-leading 21 RBIs. And his mother is here to take in every swing.
Jones is 16-for-38 in his last eight games, raising his average to .280.
Chris Tillman can be proud of tonight’s outing. The Orioles needed him to step up, and he held the Mariners to one run and three hits in six innings, with three walks and five strikeouts. He fanned Adam Kennedy on a changeup to end the sixth and strand Jack Cust on second base.
He’s done at 112 pitches. Jason Berken has replaced him.
It looks like Tillman was on a similar mission.
