Orioles left-hander Brian Matusz will likely make two injury rehab starts before the Orioles consider activating him from the disabled list.
Matusz is scheduled to throw a bullpen session tomorrow afternoon at Tropicana Field, fly back to Baltimore and start Monday night at Single-A Frederick. He will probably join Triple-A Norfolk and start the May 21 game against Louisville at Harbor Park.

Nick Markakis returns to the lineup after missing last night’s game with a stomach virus, but he’ll need to get through batting practice before we write his name in ink.
The Orioles don’t have any plans to summon pitcher Justin Duchscherer from Twin Lakes Park and watch him throw a bullpen session.
Reliever Josh Rupe will join the Tides in Lehigh Valley this weekend after accepting his outright assignment.
Pitching coach Mark Connor will miss the next two games to attend his son’s graduation from the University of Tennessee law school. Bullpen coach Rick Adair will move into the dugout, and minor league pitching coordinator Alan Dunn will take over as bullpen coach until Connor returns. Dunn served as bullpen coach under former manager Dave Trembley.
