Matt Wieters, batting .179 coming into the game, just lined a two-run double in left-center field in the third inning.
Orioles 4, Yankees 0.
Miguel Tejada and Nick Markakis singled before Wieters came to the plate.
Adam Jones will take aim at the Yankees’ bus again. Maybe he’ll break some glass this time.
Nope. Jones walked. Still no outs and left-hander Boone Logan taking the mound for the Yankees.
Update: Luke Scott reached on Robinson Cano’s throwing error, allowing a run to score….Matt Wieters, batting .179 coming into the game, just lined a two-run double in left-center field in the third inning.

Update: Luke Scott reached on Robinson Cano’s throwing error, allowing a run to score. Garrett Atkins lifted a sacrifice fly and Ty Wigginton had an RBI groundout. Orioles 7, Yankees 0.
Props to Scott for hustling to third base on right fielder Nick Swisher’s throw home on the Atkins fly ball.
Update II: Brad Bergesen threw nine pitches, eight for strikes, while retiring the side in order in the fourth. He’s thrown 50 pitches, 35 for strikes, while holding the Yankees to two hits.
Plate umpire John Hirschbeck has left the game after being hit by a foul tip off the bat of Alex Rodriguez. The game is being delayed, and Yankees manager Joe Girardi summoned his players off the field.
