Toronto 6, Orioles 5.
Uehara threw a splitter for a ball. Then he threw a splitter for Lind’s 12th home run.
Uehara has gone more than one inning only four times in 28 games (and I’m counting tonight despite the box score showing only one inning.). It was the right decision to bring him back out in the 11th. He was throwing the ball extremely well and Showalter already had used four relievers.
It just didn’t work out.
It rarely does in Toronto.
