I had to approve the last batch of comments without addressing individual questions. I’ll try to knock off a few of them here.
* What happens to Jason Berken?
He begins the season in long relief for the Orioles. They need a pitcher who’s been stretched out, and Berken earned a spot with a strong spring.
* Will Nolan Reimold sit for the entire Tampa Bay series?
Manager Dave Trembley hasn’t given us his lineups. Perhaps Reimold serves as the DH if Trembley wants to keep him off the turf….I had to approve the last batch of comments without addressing individual questions. I’ll try to knock off a few of them here.

* Will Nolan Reimold sit for the entire Tampa Bay series?
Manager Dave Trembley hasn’t given us his lineups. Perhaps Reimold serves as the DH if Trembley wants to keep him off the turf. Felix Pie has been a dynamic player this spring when he’s been healthy. It’s not like he hasn’t earned a start or two at the beginning of the season.
* Why is Alfredo Simon in Triple-A Norfolk’s rotation instead of Steve Johnson?
Johnson just returned to the organization and began last season at the Single-A level. Simon actually made the Orioles’ rotation out of spring training last year. It isn’t a reach for Simon to be part of the Tides’ rotation in 2010. And the Orioles are impressed with his speedy return from ligament-reconstructive surgery. But Johnson could move up quickly.
* How long will Koji Uehara be sidelined?
I’d have an easier time guessing the lottery numbers.
I received quite an education while scrolling through the comments. I had no idea that showing compassion for your players was an indication that you’re spineless and shouldn’t be managing. I’ll be sure to jot that one down.
