Scott has homered twice, singled and walked twice since joining the Baysox on Sunday. Before tonight, he hadn’t played since Monday because of discomfort in his right shoulder that required another cortisone injection.
Update: Scott lined a two-run double down the right field line in the fifth inning, giving him five RBIs tonight. He must really want to be activated this weekend.

Also, former first-round pick Matt Hobgood has allowed two runs and seven hits in four innings for short-season Single-A Aberdeen. He’s walked one, struck out none, thrown a wild pitch and hit a batter.
