Gunnar Henderson is playing shortstop and Tyler O’Neill is in right field, occupying the first two spots in today’s Orioles lineup before leaving for the World Baseball Classic.

Henderson will play for Team USA and O’Neill for Team Canada.

Adley Rutschman is catching. Manager Craig Albernaz told the assembled media this morning that Samuel Basallo will catch Sunday against the Red Sox in Fort Myers after the top prospect left Thursday’s game with right abdominal soreness.

Pete Alonso is at first base today and Ryan Mountcastle is the designated hitter. Leody Taveras is in center field.

Kyle Bradish makes his second spring start after allowing two runs and three hits in two innings against the Tigers in Lakeland. He had a 10-pitch first inning while retiring the side in order.

The Tigers loaded the bases with no outs in the second and scored twice on Max Anderson’s bouncing single up the middle.

Bradish’s sinker topped at 95.8 mph.

Atlanta is starting Spencer Strider, who returned last season from reconstructive-elbow surgery and posted a 4.45 ERA in 23 starts.
