The Orioles announced today that they have optioned left-handed pitcher Mark Hendrickson to Triple-A Norfolk.
The move will open a roster space for left-handed pitcher Jo-Jo Reyes, whom the Orioles claimed off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday.
Hendrickson, 37, appeared in seven games for the Orioles, going 1-0 with a 5.40 ERA (10.0IP, 6 ER).
Reyes, 26, went 5-8 with a 5.40 ERA (110.0IP, 66ER) in 20 starts for the Blue Jays this season. He spent parts of the previous four…The Orioles announced today that they have optioned left-handed pitcher Mark Hendrickson to Triple-A Norfolk.

Reyes, 26, went 5-8 with a 5.40 ERA (110.0IP, 66ER) in 20 starts for the Blue Jays this season. He spent parts of the previous four seasons with the Atlanta Braves. In 61 career major league games (57 starts), Reyes is 10-23 with a 6.04 ERA (304.0IP, 204ER). Reyes will wear uniform number 45.
