Reynolds hit his second home run today, and the ball traveled an estimated 450 feet into the second deck in left field.

Reynolds tied for the sixth-longest homer in Camden Yards history. It’s the second-longest hit by an Oriole. Jeffrey Hammonds launched a ball 460 feet on Sept. 15, 1997 in Game 1 of a doubleheader against the Indians.

I’ve seen one other ball reach the second deck, and it came off Juan Gonzalez’s bat during batting practice for…This just in: Mark Reynolds has sick power.

I was absent that day.

Reynolds and Hudler are the only players to do it in a game.

I can believe Reynolds, but Hudler?

Reynolds jumped on the first pitch from Ricky Romero leading off the bottom of the seventh, reducing Toronto’s lead to 6-2. But the Blue Jays scored once off Brad Bergesen in top of the eighth, for those of you scoring at home.

Reynolds’ two home runs today add up to an estimated 841 feet.
