After they suffered a blown save in the ninth and Toronto tied the game 4-4, the Jays went ahead 5-4 in the top of the 10th.

But the Orioles came up with two runs in the last of the 10th to pull out a comeback, 6-5 victory in the series opener.

Brian Tallet walked Matt Wieters and Mark Reynolds to start the 10th. With one out, a Jake Fox RBI single tied the game…It seemed like a game the Orioles were going to give away, but they took it back with a victory on Tuesday night against Toronto.

Brian Tallet walked Matt Wieters and Mark Reynolds to start the 10th. With one out, a Jake Fox RBI single tied the game at 5-5. Then Ryan Adams delivered a long single off the warning track in right to win the game, 6-5.

The Orioles were three outs away from a comeback victory in regulation that would have provided Jeremy Guthrie with back-to-back wins for the first time all year, but they couldn’t get the outs.

Kevin Gregg came on in the ninth to protect a 4-3 lead and the number eight hitter singled and he walked the number nine hitter to start the inning. After a double steal with Orioles infielders charging to play a bunt, a Yunel Escobar sac fly tied the game at 4-4.

In the 10th, Kelly Johnson tripled off Willie Eyre and scored on his wild pitch for the 5-4 lead.

After Brett Lawrie’s three-run homer off Guthrie put the Jays ahead in the top of the second, the Orioles pulled within 3-2 in the bottom of the inning on Matt Wieters’ two-run homer, his 15th.

The Orioles tied the game 3-3 in the fourth when Robert Andino doubled and scored on a throwing error. They went ahead an inning later on a Vlad Guerrero RBI double.

With the win, the Orioles are 3-2 on this homestand and 54-79 on the year.
