Taylor Ward is the Orioles’ leadoff hitter again this afternoon for Game 2 of the 2026 season.

There are some changes from the Opening Day lineup against the Twins.

Dylan Beavers is in right field instead of Tyler O’Neill and Jeremiah Jackson is at second base instead of Blaze Alexander.

Gunnar Henderson is batting second again, followed by Pete Alonso and Adley Rutschman. Samuel Basallo is batting fifth again and serving as designated hitter.

Coby Mayo is batting seventh and Colton Cowser is eighth.

Kyle Bradish makes his 2026 debut after shutting out the Nationals over 5 1/3 innings in Sunday’s exhibition game at Camden Yards. He’s made two career starts against the Twins and allowed five runs and 13 hits with 10 strikeouts in 10 innings.

Twins right-hander Taj Bradley has a 7.03 ERA in seven career starts against the Orioles. He’s allowed 14 runs and 17 hits in 8 2/3 innings in his two starts in Baltimore.

Henderson is 8-for-20 with a double, triple and home run against Bradley. Cowser is 4-for-10 with a homer, and Ryan Mountcastle is 3-for-4 with two homers.

Jackson Holliday began his injury rehab assignment last night with Triple-A Norfolk and went 0-for-2 with a walk and two strikeouts.

Outfielder Reed Trimble left the game with right hamstring discomfort, according to the Orioles.

The Tides scored six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning before the game was halted by rain. They posted a shortened 6-4 victory over Nashville.
