By liking the Orioles on Facebook or entering the Fan Appreciation Celebration Sweepstakes, fans can win a variety of prizes, including a trip for two to 2012 spring training in Sarasota, Fla.; a spot in Orioles Dream Week in Sarasota; VIP experiences at Camden Yards in 2012; Orioles memorabilia; and more.
Throughout the series against the Red Sox, fans will be randomly chosen for special experiences, including on-field visits, Fan of the Game contests, the popular “Shirts Off Our Backs” promotion, the opportunity to take the field with the O’s during the national anthem and more.
Fans are encouraged to don team clothing and arrive at the ballpark early for all three games.
As a tribute to the Birdland faithful, all Camden Yards employees and Orioles staff will be wearing special “Thank You Fans” shirts and/or buttons. A special video tribute will be played on the scoreboard on center field during each game. The Orioles Team Store will offer a 30 percent discount on select merchandise during the homestand.
On Tuesday, Sept. 27 and Wednesday, Sept. 28, fans should keep an eye out for special appearances by Orioles players throughout the ballpark.
