Players taking their first round of batting practice are instructed to concentrate on situational hitting, a routine that began on the first day here.

“It’s a subtle reminder of, ‘Let’s do things right and let’s concentrate on little things that will help us win.'”
Trembley also believes the routine allows players to “get the kinks out” after showing up early at the complex.
Sounds like a good idea to me.
