Samuel Basallo is in the lineup again tonight against a left-hander, and Jackson Holliday joins him, as the Orioles try to climb within two games of .500.

Blaze Alexander is playing center field and Tylor O’Neill is in right.

Coby Mayo is at third base again after homering last night.

Alexander is slashing .364/.394/.500 (24-for-66) with four doubles, one triple, one home run, 14 RBIs, four walks, seven runs scored and four stolen bases in 26 games since May 1.

Gunnar Henderson has reached base in each of his first 23 career games at Fenway Park, slashing .276/.411/.575 (24-for-87) with eight doubles, three triples, four home runs, 11 RBIs, 19 walks and 19 runs scored. This is tied for the eighth-longest career-opening on-base streak by any player in Boston, and the longest since Tony Clark’s 27-game stretch from Sept. 25, 1995-Sept. 21, 2001.

It’s the longest streak by an Oriole in team history, topping 11-game stretches by Matt Wieters and Don Baylor.

Andrew Kittredge has made five straight scoreless appearances since May 18, with opponents going 1-for-14 with one walk and six strikeouts.

The Orioles improved last night to 1-7 on the road against division opponents. They’ve won five consecutive games at Fenway Park since May 24, 2025, their longest stretch since July 5-Sept. 10, 2014.

They haven’t won six straight since a franchise-record seven-game streak from Sept. 20, 2011-June 6, 2012.

The Orioles have hit 26 home runs over their last 16 games since May 16, second most in the majors behind Seattle’s 28.

The Sept. 3 game between the Orioles and Red Sox at Camden Yards will now air exclusively on FOX at 7:15 p.m.
