CHICAGO – A victory tonight would put the Orioles a season-high four games above .500 and assure a series win over the White Sox.
Since Sept. 12, 2011, the Orioles are 6-1-1 in their last eight series. They’re 18-10 in their last 28 games.
The Orioles are 16-10 in their last 26 road games since Aug. 22, 2011.

Nolan Reimold has homered in the last four games that he’s played. The last Oriole to homer in five straight was Melvin Mora from Sept. 30, 2005-April 5, 2006.
Reimold has recorded three straight multi-RBI games for the first time in his career.
Adam Jones is batting .407 (11-for-27) with a double, four homers and four RBIs with nobody on base. With men on base, he’s batting .167 (3-for-18) with a double and one RBI. Jones is batting .323 (10-for-31) with two doubles and two homers against right-handed pitching this season.
Chris Davis’ streak of three straight multi-hit games came to an end last night. Davis had eight hits in his previous 12 at-bats, with three doubles and a homer.
Manager Buck Showalter is eight wins away from 1,000 in his career.
Jason Hammel, who starts Thursday afternoon, is 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA in six career appearances (two starts) covering 18 2/3 innings against the White Sox.
