A reminder that manager Buck Showalter needs one more win for 1,000 in his career. He would never admit it, but I’m sure it would be extra special if it happened here.
Brian Roberts took early batting practice, along with a few other teammates, including Nick Johnson, who’s 0-for-26 this season and not in tonight’s lineup.
It’s no surprise that Roberts is on the trip, since he traveled to Toronto, Chicago and Anaheim earlier this month.
