BOSTON – Former Red Sox catcher Luis Exposito, signed by the Orioles as a minor league free agent, was on the field a few minutes ago. He’s been summoned from Triple-A Norfolk, which indicates that a roster move is coming.
Is Nolan Reimold headed to the disabled list?
Exposito is batting .288/.339/.423 with three RBIs in 13 games with the Tides.
Exposito is on the 40-man roster, which makes a move less complicated. The Orioles haven’t officially added Exposito to the 25-man roster, but we could get an announcement later.
