The Rays are starting left-hander Ian Seymour and right-hander Freddy Peralta. Their Monday starter is TBA.

Left-hander Steven Matz is the opener tonight and he’s carrying a 5.46 ERA. Peralta’s ERA is 5.33. And the Rays own the best record in baseball at 74-46.

Former Orioles center fielder Cedric Mullins is batting seventh for the Rays. Jorge Mateo has reported to the team.

Chandler Simpson has a chance to become the first qualifying hitter in the majors this century to bat .300 or better, steal 30 bases and hit zero homers.
