Manager Dave Trembley will begin taking Wieters deeper into games. He’s scheduled to play seven innings tomorrow and will catch in back-to-back games Saturday and Sunday. He might be allowed to catch all nine innings on Sunday.
The Triple-A and Double-A games begin tomorrow.
