Matt Lindstrom says his right middle finger remains pain-free and he’ll try to throw later this week. He’ll probably need a few rehab games to sharpen his command before coming off the disabled list.
Update: Zach Britton made his final start at extended spring training today, allowing two runs on four hits in five innings with five strikeouts. Britton said that his stuff was the best that it’s been since he got back on the mound.
Britton is expected to make his first injury rehab start with a minor league affiliate Saturday at Double-A Bowie.
