The Orioles have certainly been an inconsistent clutch hitting team this year and have relied often on the longball. As they try to turn around a stretch that has seen them lose seven of the last nine games, they of course need some better pitching. But, some clutch hits would help as well.

Mixed results tonight: So far tonight, after they batted in the top of the fourth, the Orioles are 1-for-3 with RISP. With two on and one out in the second, Ryan Flaherty hit an RBI on an infield single to deep short. It was his third RBI of the season. But the next two batters, Robert Andino and Endy Chavez, made outs with runners on first and second.

Jason Hammel has allowed a pair of solo homers tonight as Toronto comes to bat in the fourth leading 2-1.
