Yoon needs to obtain is work visa before taking the mound in a Grapefruit League game. According to Yoon’s interpreter, Justin Yoo, the Orioles could find out later today whether it’s done.

The Orioles were able to spare Yoon a return trip to South Korea while the process played out.

Yoon will throw another bullpen session on Tuesday, his last without facing hitters.

Henry Urrutia has fouled balls off the top of his foot, ankle and shin. He sat at his locker this morning with a protective device covering his foot, anke and shin.

The horse is pretty much out of the barn now, but at least the equipment offers protection from further mishaps.

Hall of Famer Frank Robinson arrived at the Ed Smith Stadium complex this morning and will address the team before it takes the field.

Alexi Casilla told reporters this morning that he played in the same Little League as Ubaldo Jimenez when they were 11 or 12. Casilla played on the Red Team and Jimenez, a pitcher/outfielder, played for the White.

Casilla said the four-team league in the Dominican was created by the Jose Rijo Foundation.

“He was so skinny,” Casilla said of Jimenez. “Nobody wanted him to pitch becauase he used to throw a lot of curveballs. He had a high, slow curveball. Nobody liked it.”

Games were played on Friday and Saturday, and occasionally on Wednesday.

Casilla faced Jimenez two years ago while playing for the Twins. He had three at-bats in the game.

“He threw me 11 pitches and he threw me nine breaking balls,” Casilla said. “I’ve known him since I was 11. The next day, I was running outside and I said, ‘Hey, nice breaking balls, man. That curveball is pretty good.’ I don’t want to say the other word.

“He went like, ‘Hey, I know you very good. I think I know you better than everybody else here, since I’ve seen you since a long time ago.'”

Update: Nelson Cruz doesn’t have a locker set up in the clubhouse, but he’s listed on the Orioles’ morning workout schedule. The club will announce his signing later today.

Alfredo Aceves also is listed on the sheet, though he hasn’t been seen in the clubhouse since flying back to Mexico to obtain his work visa.
