Jake Arrieta is still scheduled to start Saturday night’s interleague game in Atlanta. He threw in the bullpen yesterday and impressed pitching coach Rick Adair.
Vladimir Guerrero is expected to be on the bench again for the three games against the Braves unless injuries dictate a change in plans. Guerrero didn’t start any of the games in Washington and Pittsburgh.

Former No. 1 pick Matt Hobgood threw two scoreless innings today for the Gulf Coast League Orioles. He allowed one hit and struck out two.
Ryan Berry replaced Hobgood and gave up one unearned run and one hit, with three walks and three strikeouts, in 1 2/3 innings.
Hobgood has made three starts for the GCL team, allowing one earned run (two total) and four hits, with one walk and three strikeouts, in 4 2/3 innings. He was held back at extended spring training because of a strained rotator cuff.
Triple-A Norfolk center fielder Matt Angle went 3-for-5 with a double, home run, two RBIs and two runs scored in a 7-3 victory over Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
First baseman Brandon Snyder was 3-for-4 with two RBIs.Second baseman Ryan Adams had a double and two RBIs. Catcher Jake Fox was hit twice by pitches from former Yankees first-round pick Andrew Bracken.
Mitch Atkins allowed two runs and three hits in six innings. Josh Rupe replaced him and gave up a run and two hits in one inning.
