So we’re down to asking just five questions this time around. And that is fine, a bit less than the usual 10. But for now, we’re excluding some of the standard baseball questions about who might start opening day, who may bat leadoff or who may lead the team in home runs.

Hopefully, we are getting closer to a time when those questions become more prominent, relevant and of interest to all of us.
This is a sort of a baseball shutdown and speculative edition because right now that is dominating everything. Even discussions about sports and when we may see them again.
So here we go.
1. If there is a baseball season, how many games will be played?
2. Will the season end before Thanksgiving? How would fans feel about a postseason that drags deep into the fall?
3. Would the entire season be played without fans? How will that go over if we see it for several months?
4. Will TV ratings be strong for baseball games if/when the sport returns? Will it stay that way all year and it will just be that way initially?
5. Will fans be accepting of rules changes that may be needed, like playing seven-inning doubleheaders or placing runners in extra-inning games?
Meanwhile, the Orioles had a surprise message for Trey Mancini yesterday. They told No. 16 to F16HT.
