Accardo allowed 55 baserunners in 32 1/3 innings – 37 hits, 17 walks and one hit batter. Signed as a free agent over the winter, he’s 3-3 with a 5.29 ERA.

“He’s just up, command,” manager Buck Showalter said after the game. “Even with the walks, he’s missing up. Just throwing the ball in some places where major league hitters square it up.”
