Orioles outfielder Adam Jones was the featured guest of the company’s CareFirst Commitment reception in Annapolis on Feb. 2. The five-time Major League Baseball All-Star spoke with elected officials and legislative leaders and visited representatives of the more than 20 nonprofit organizations that attended the event designed to recognize them for the work they do in their communities.
Jones was also joined on stage by Orioles play-by-play broadcaster Jim Hunter, who led a question-and-answer session with the four-time Gold Glove Award winner. Jones, who heads to Orioles spring training in Florida later this month, talked about his community involvement with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Baltimore and the O’s upcoming baseball season.
