Vote Orange.jpgJones has continued to produce in June, hitting .339/.371/.615 with 37 hits, eight home runs and 19 RBIs. In the most recent balloting, Jones increased his vote total by 363,268 selections and will need to see a continued increase as online voting ends on Thursday at 11:59 p.m.

Other than Nelson Cruz and Matt Wieters, who continue to lead at their respective positions, Jones is the only O’s player with a somewhat realistic chance at making the All-Star game starting lineup.

Chris Davis, J.J. Hardy and Nick Markakis all remained in the same positions as last week, and Manny Machado moved back a place at third base.

Davis sits third among American League first basemen with 1,292,412 votes, and Hardy is also in third at shortstop with 1,534,547 selections. Markakis has moved his way up the outfielders throughout All-Star voting, but unless anything changes, he will land in eighth where he’s been the past two weeks.

Machado moved from No. 3 to No. 4 in the recent figures and trails the A’s Josh Donaldson (2,943,332), the Rangers’ Adrian Beltre (1,730,748) and the Rays’ Evan Longoria (1,457,752).

Voters will have the opportunity to elect their favorite starting players up to 25 times at MLB.com until Thursday at 11:59 p.m. The 2014 MLB All-Star Game Selection Show will be held during the weekend of July 5-6.
