David Hernandez deserved better, giving up three runs over 6 1/3, but falls to 0 and 3.
Vargas, who gave up 13 hits in 11 1/3 over his first two starts, threw 105 pitches. The O’s got leadoff doubles twice against him, but not only failed to plate the runner, but didn’t even advance him to third base.
The Orioles fall to 2-13 and 1-5 on this road trip. By losing the first two in Seattle, they have now lost all five series played this season.
