What’s missing tonight is a lead.

Tillman served up a two-run homer to Yankees No. 9 hitter Francisco Cervelli in the second inning, and the Orioles continue to trail the Yankees 2-1 in the eighth.

Darren O’Day has replaced Tillman, who threw 100 pitches.

Oh, there’s more. Tillman has allowed 3 earned runs or fewer in his last 13 starts for a 2.42 ERA.

Yankees manager Joe Girardi earned an ejection after the top of the seventh when Stephen Drew was called out for running out of the baseline. Nick Hundley made a wide throw on the play and the ball skipped into shallow right field.

It’s Girardi’s 26th career ejection and his 23rd as a manager.

Update: We’re tied.

Jonathan Schoop homered off Yankees reliever Dellin Betances in the bottom of the eighth inning to tie the game 2-2.

Four of Schoop’s 11 home runs this season have come against the Yankees. The first nine were hit on the road, but the last two have come at Camden Yards in this series.

Update II: Shawn Kelley replaced Betances in the eighth and Adam Jones hit a three-run homer with two outs to give the Orioles a 5-3 win over the Yankees before 37,587.

Jones jumped on the first pitch, an 83 mph slider, after Nick Markakis singled with two outs and Chris Davis walked.

Jones has 23 homers and 75 RBIs this season.

Zach Britton recorded his 25th save after Chase Headley’s RBI bouncer in the ninth, and the Orioles improved to 69-50 overall and 30-19 vs. the American League East. They’ve won eight series in a row.
