Today he allowed just one run over seven innings as Norfolk bested Rochester, 2-1. He threw 112 pitches, 70 for strikes. Arrieta is now 5-2, 1.86 through ten starts. On the year, he has allowed 1 ER or less in six of his ten starts.

He is 4-0, 0.97 in six home starts and has a 1.50 ratio of ground balls to fly balls.
After going 9 for 16 over the last four games with five doubles, Josh Bell was 0 for 4 today. Brandon Snyder was 1 for 3 with a double and is 7 for 21 with four doubles and 6 RBI over his last six games.
Danny Figueroa, who was added to the Tides roster Monday from Bowie, hit a two-run homer in the fifth for his first Triple-A hit. Now both Figueroa twin brothers, Danny and Paco, are on the Tides roster.
After an off day Wednesday, Norfolk travels to Pawtucket Thursday to start an eight-game road trip. Chris George (1-1, 4.22) gets the start then.
