Bell is considered day-to-day after experiencing some swelling in his left knee. He’s available tonight if needed, but is expected to miss one or two games.
Bell is hitting .273 with four doubles, a triple, four homers and 11 RBIs. He’s struck out 23 times in 77 at-bats, and didn’t draw his first walk until the 13th game.
Bell homered twice Monday night.
Blake Davis replaced him at third base last night, but the Tides’ roster also includes Brendan Harris and Nick Green. Ryan Adams shifted to third at Double-A Bowie last summer and in the Arizona Fall League.
