Brad Bergesen has completed four innings tonight at Triple-A Norfolk, allowing one run and three hits, with no walks and two strikeouts.
Bergesen retired the first eight Lehigh Valley batters before surrendering three straight singles (with two stolen bases mixed in).
Bergesen has thrown 63 pitches, 46 for strikes. He threw 65 in 2 2/3 innings in his last start.

Update: Bergesen was removed after five innings. He allowed two runs and five hits, with one walk and four strikeouts. He threw 85 pitches, 58 for strikes. Bergesen got seven outs on ground balls and four on fly balls.
We’ll see if the Orioles are satisfied and give him the ball on Saturday.
