Veteran right-hander Freddy Garcia remains listed as today’s starter for Triple-A Norfolk. If he takes the mound, he won’t be taking a flight to Seattle.
Left-hander Zach Britton remains the favorite to start Monday for the Orioles. He hasn’t pitched in the first three games in Oakland and it’s doubtful that he would be needed today in relief, considering that Tommy Hunter and T.J. McFarland are well-rested and available out of the bullpen.

Hunter hasn’t pitched in four days. McFarland hasn’t pitched in three, and he only worked one inning on Thursday.
Britton has allowed three earned runs (four total) in 13 2/3 innings with the Tides, with seven walks and five strikeouts. The Orioles recalled him on Thursday after optioning Josh Stinson.
Britton hasn’t pitched since April 18 at Gwinnett, when he allowed one run over six innings.
Garcia is 3-0 with a 2.81 ERA in four starts with Norfolk, and he can opt out of his contract after his fifth game. Garcia has walked two and struck out 16 in 25 2/3 innings.
Meanwhile, the Orioles still haven’t announced a roster move for today. Backup catcher Taylor Teagarden is headed to the disabled list with a dislocated left thumb, an injury sustained yesterday on Josh Donaldson’s foul tip.
Luis Exposito is the only minor league catcher on the 40-man roster. He stayed with the Tides through last night’s game against Toledo, though he didn’t play.
The Orioles will continue to check the market for available catchers.
Update: The Tides tweeted their lineup for today, and Garcia is still listed as the starting pitcher.
Also, Chris Robinson is behind the plate again today after starting last night, another indication that Exposito will be recalled.
