Meanwhile, Zach Britton is making his third Triple-A start for Norfolk tonight. He is 0-1, 2.53 over the first two outings there. Over his last nine starts, between Bowie and Norfolk, Britton is 5-1, 1.26 and that doesn’t count his scoreless inning he pitched in the Futures Game.
Britton has thrown three scoreless innings tonight on 35 pitches vs. Columbus.
Britton has allowed just four homers on the year over 97 2/3 innings.
