Brad Bergesen discusses his outing after the Orioles 7-5 loss to Oakland
Bergesen on watching the relievers give up the lead: "There were a couple of bad, bad breaks right there. Every reliever we have, they are laying it on the line and giving it all they got. They will continue to do so."
Bergesen, did the 8th inning sum up the whole season?: "I don't really think so. It's not like we are getting those every single game. Tonight there were some unlucky breaks that were crucial in the game."
Hendrickson on the O's losing the lead: "That's baseball. We stand up here and we lost the game and it's not a good feeling. It tests your character and for me, my belief in myself. It's tough, we did everything we possibly could do to win a game and it didn't work out so it's not easy."
Hendrickson on Bergesen: "He did a great job of kinding of getting back into it after the first few innings he was searching for his rhythm a little bit. It's tough to stand up here and answer questions because it's hard to process within 15 minutes after the game."
Wigginton on the 8th: "That's the way it seems to be going a lot this year. Somehow we have to find a way to get through those innings. Bergesen stayed down in the zone and mixed in some good breaking balls."
