Outfielder Brian Conley, a Gaithersburg, Maryland native and Towson University product, has been promoted from Delmarva to Frederick today.
Conley, a 17th-round pick in 2008, is having his best professional season. In 98 games, he hit .270 with 16 doubles and 29 RBIs. The 24-year old ranks fourth in the South Atlantic League in on-base percentage (.393) and second in the league in walks (70).

Meanwhile, at Tampa the Orioles have left five runners on base in their first two at bats in a 0-0 game in the second. The O’s, who entered today hitting .382 with runners in scoring position since Buck Showalter took over, are 0 for 5 with RISP in those first two innings this afternoon.
