Chris Davis remains at first base for the Orioles tonight after fouling a ball off his right ankle last night and playing in obvious pain.

With last night’s win, the Orioles clinched their first series win in Texas since sweeping a four-game set on July 8-11, 2010. They also clinched the season series for the first time since 2010.
The Orioles are 15-8 (.652) vs. the American League West this season, their second-best winning percentage (32-12, .727 in 1997) against the West since each league went to three divisions in 1994.
In the last seven games since July 10, the Orioles have gone 6-1 and their starting pitchers have earned each decision, posting a 3.13 ERA in 46 innings with six quality starts.
Down on the farm, Kevin Gausman is making his first start tonight for Triple-A Norfolk since being optioned. He made one relief appearance, allowing one run in four innings and striking out six.
